Our mission is to support and nurture kinship caregivers and the children they are raising through services, resources, education, and advocacy.
It is our vision to cultivate resilient individuals, families and communities by providing kinship caregivers with the connections, support, and respect they need so that they can provide a safe, stable, and loving home for the children they are raising.

Kinship Program Partners
Kinship Connections of Wyoming is an information, referral and advocacy program for kinship caregivers in Wyoming. This program piloted in Laramie and Natrona Counties and is currently expanding statewide. It is now active in Sweetwater and Sheridan Counties. Referrals from other counties across the state are always accepted. This program is operated by a partnership between Wyoming 2-1-1 and the Wyoming Citizen Review Panel. Kinship Connections of Wyoming is funded by the Wyoming Department of Family Services.

Wyoming 2-1-1
Wyoming 2-1-1 is comprehensive provider of information and referral for individuals seeking community resources for health and human services in Wyoming. They provide referrals to resources, help individuals navigate the difficult social systems, offer advocacy for individuals that are struggling to understand or access services, and offer translation services.

Wyoming Citizen Review Panel (WYCRP)
The Citizen Review Panel is a federally mandated group of citizens who are responsible for determining whether state and local agencies are effectively meeting child protective responsibilities according to the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act.

The Wyoming Department of Family Services focuses on supporting those who support families.
