Meet Our Navigators
At Kinship Connections of Wyoming our Kinship Navigator Specialists are passionate about our mission to support and nurture kinship caregivers and the children they are raising through services, resources, education, and advocacy. They believe it is critical for the voices of kinship caregivers to be heard across the state and beyond so that they can be given every opportunity to provide a safe, stable, and loving home for the children they are raising.
Without further ado, we would love to introduce you to the Kinship Navigator Specialists who work tirelessly to achieve our mission!
Jena has been with Kinship Connections of Wyoming for just over a year. She
began her journey with the program as a Kinship Navigator Specialist when the
program launched, and she recently added Program Manager to her role. Jena
earned a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies and has over seven years
of social services and case management experience. Her experiences include
ensuring the safety and well-being of children and working directly with and
supporting kinship families. Jena is passionate about supporting individuals,
families, and the community. In Jena’s spare time you will find her spending
time with her husband, stepson, four-month-old son, fur babies, family, and
friends.
